ANDY, 25

ANDY'S BIRTHDAY EDITION

25 !!!

Andy reached 25 this Easter and the occasion was celebrated in tremendous fashion during a long weekend in France. Read on for more...

BUCCANEER IN FRANCE

New arrival!

Recently Kirstin and Matt invested in another caravan, which will be stored in France when not in use, allowing easier touring of Europe during holidays. The new 'Buccaneer' will spend it's quiet time parked in a campsite the attractive North-Western French town of Dinan. Close to St. Malo, Dinan is easy to reach via a short drive off the ferry. Here are a couple of pictures of the town centre:

Dinan: (clockwise from top left) Town Centre, Street leading to the old port, One of the many restaurants, Statue of 14th century hero of Dinan.

OUTSIDE THE 'BLOCKHAUS'

Birthday Activities - afternoon.

There was much to see in the region, however we ended up on the coast looking at this German WWII bunker. Good fun nonetheless.

GRANT DOES A PHIL MITCHELL??

Birthday Activities - afternoon.

Ever one to realise an opportunity, Grant attempted to take advantage of the proximity of cliff edges and the high winds that day to rediscover what it was like to be single. (Only joking - I can assure our readers that no animals or Helens were hurt in the production of this website - ed.)

WINING AND DINING

Birthday Activities - evening.

'Camping Hallerais', our caravan site, has many features one of which is a noted restaurant. This seemed the logical place to choose for a birthday meal, and in an area famous for it's pork cuisine the popular choice at the table was of course the porn loin or 'mignon'

MATT PONDERS A MOVE TO HAVANA

Aftermath.

After such excertions the only sensible thing to do is of course to sit back and take it easy, demonstrated perfectly here by Matt. "I love it when a plan comes together".

Time for one more night out before packing up and heading home. Pictures show (again, clockwise from top left) The brothers grim?, Matt and the obligatory wine, Grant shocks Andy with his description of the size of his easter eggs, packing up to return on Monday morning.
